This post will not be received well by some of the people I know. My frustration at the system that has been doing whatever it can to keep a Candidate like Bernie Sanders from being noticed, has been expressed in this blog multiple times before. This is different, this goes beyond the obvious disdain the Democratic Party and Media has for a specific candidate, but how willing they are to give into the Money and show their bias. These are the issues we yell about the Republicans for, the idea that they are willing abandon morals and beliefs to advance their career and make money. It has been obvious to us all that the Republicans allow that money from Oil/Gas companies to have these politicians LITERALLY deny facts, such as Global Climate Change. The problem is the Democratic Party has decided to adopt some of these types of ideas and move away from caring about the average person.
Tuesday in New York was a very disappointing day for Bernie Sanders. I, along with his camp, really thought there was a chance of having the race being, at minimum, pretty close and only a few percentage behind the Hilary regime. Gloomily, that was not the case. In another complete breakdown from the Democratic Party, we saw another sad state like Arizona with TERRIBLE voter suppression. The hours for voting were cut in half for a lot of the state, most of which were heavily in Bernie Sanders camp. There are no excuses, but the fact that the Democratic Party is allowing these elections in Arizona and New York, the only last 2 states to favor Hilary over Bernie, have been a “complete mess”, to quote the incompetent Trump. I am willing to say, the odds now of a Bernie Sanders presidential run are now looking almost impossible. I will be here watching and hoping, but my expectations of the people to elect someone who actually fights for THEM seem to be squashed. My pessimism has returned for the future of our country. I will remind people though, I will support Hilary as the nominee to the extent of, she is at least not terrifying for the existence of our country.
Over the last couple weeks there has been some resistance to the idea of having a debate in New York prior to the primary there. Bernie Sanders was pushing Hillary to agree to meet and debate their differences in front of the individuals who may have a large role in this election season. They will either finally squash the momentum or keep it going for Bernie. The immediate response was a refusal from the Clinton campaign. Now obviously she and the entire team denies that now because they have agreed to terms of having the debate. But the immediate response was an emphatic “no.” Now why would that be?
First, I would like to apologize for my absence. I hope someone out there seemed to care that I have not had a post in a while. But that might be slightly optimistic on my part. Either way I am sad I have not taken the time to put more out there. I will say my goal for myself and this blog is to try to give out real information and offer my interpretation and opinions on the things going on within our Political system. I won’t say my opinions are universal and they can be controversial. I know I have had battles between the Hilary supporters out there. They think Bernie supporters are not being fair to Hilary. I will go further into this issue in another post I am planning for this week. For this post I want to stay back on the campaign of Bernie Sanders and the possibility of him getting the nomination.
